This week, I saw the new Transformers movie. Brilliant.
This week it has been over a hundred degrees every single day. That is ridiculous. The grass is totally tee'd off. So am I. It is hard to breathe. Oppressive really. I'm trying to embrace the summer though, because it is only June, so it won't be getting better anytime soon.
Summery wines are my friend. So is ice cold water!
This week I decided I'm so ready for a vacation. A real one. Where I can relax and enjoy stuff.
This week I hired an intern/law clerk. I'm pretty pumped up about it! YAY for becoming more efficient.
This week I got an appointment for E to get braces. I think he is actually excited about it and I find that adorable.
This week I also got an appointment for M to have surgery on her left foot. She essentially has an extra ankle bone. I had to have the same surgery, one foot at a time. We are going to have fun this summer before her surgery. Because she will be in a cast for 6-8 weeks and that won't be so fun. But she will feel way better.
This week I decided that I can't get rid of the dogs because I'm annoyed. This home is their forever home. I cannot just discard them when I can help make them better dogs in the first place.
This week, I am alive.

I agree. Summer has come on strong, hot and humid. The good thing is that the grass dies out and I don't have to pay someone to mow! Yippee!!
I'm sorry that M has to have foot surgery but am grateful that the extra bone wasn't growing in her nose or some other inconvenient place.
I'm with you on the vacation scene. Been a long time since I've gone anywhere. I like the idea that E. and I have. To rent a motor home and travel wherever we want to go.
Behind on movie going. I'll have to make sure Transformers is on my list. It's amazing what they can do with animation compared to the Popeye & Olyve Oyle stick figures we watched as kids.
Keep a cool head in this heat and think 'OCTOBER'! ! !
It sounds like you are quite busy!
